Kioski Funny Logo Cross Pocket Bag

The small Funny Cross Pocket shoulder bag is made of recycled nylon in the Marimerkki pattern. The lightweight bag has a narrow adjustable shoulder strap, a handle, and a zipper closure. The Mini Unikko pattern piece at the front is made from upcycled cotton canvas printed in Helsinki. The raw-edged piece of fabric has the words Kioski Marimekko printed on it.

Marimerkki (mari mark) is a playful interpretation of the iconic Marimekko logo, created originally in the early 1950s. In this cheerful pattern, our widely recognizable letters float freely in many different sizes.

Unikko (poppy), symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekkos collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
